I submitted an entry to HeroX on April 17th and got the prize announcement on May 28th. In HeroX's words:
“Crowd Wisdom” Caregiver Agent empowers patients facing complex or rare cancer decisions by aggregating expert opinions through a crowdsourced approach modeled on the "wisdom of crowds." The tool allows patients to submit questions, collect and analyze multiple clinical opinions, and generate aggregated insights to inform difficult treatment choices. Inspired by the founder’s own lived experience, it offers a novel, patient-led decision support alternative to traditional tumor boards.
Here are links to the challange description, my entry, documentation for the app I submitted a video of its use and prize announcement.
Basically, the app consists of the clinical trial search tool and an implementation of the "Wisdom of Crowds" methodology I've been investigating for that last year. I call the bundle a "Caregiver Agent".
I have two use cases.
- The first is whether or not I should enroll in the Everest Clinical Trial. I pass 13 (human) opinions to an LLM and ask it to judge using two different prompts.
- The second is to judge which of 17 hackathon teams did the best reseach.
